The situation is characterized by the phase of a project, the desired methodology
for evaluating the "Center of Gravity", and the "Weight" of different factors.

- The "Project Stage" indicates where along the line of project development and
deployment the project is. It is used to compare the current project stage to the
expected adoption of each individual in order to determine whether they are on
time for their normal mode of operation.

- The "Center of Gravity", or COG, is used to show how the overall effort is doing
relative to the influence issues. It is represented on the screen by an icon that
moves around the screen as the personae move. It can be calculated using either the
mean location of the personae, or a weighted mean which take into account the
relative importance of participants as calculated by their characteristics and
the current situation.

- The "Weights" are used to emphasize different factors in evaluating importance of
persona. Weights go from 1 to 9 on each of the influence factors and is raised
or lowered by menu selections and reflected in the current values displayed in the
Situation Weights sub menu. Minimum and maximum values are limited.

- Presets are used to generate preconfigured weightings for typical environments.
These presets are the equivalent of setting each of the other weights to the preset
values and are only a user convenience.
